St. Louis Symphony Orchestra

Built as a movie theater in 1925, Powell Hall is the home to the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra (SLSO). SLSO is embarking on a renovation and expansion of its historic home to improve the audience experience, create a more nimble, versatile 2,100 seat performance venue, and enhance and extend the life of Powell Hall – one of America’s most acoustically exceptional and visually stunning music halls – for future generations to enjoy. The Symphony is located in the Grand Center Arts District and is a focal point for urban revitalization along St. Louis’ North and South corridor. The project includes 80,000 SF of historic renovation and a 64,000 SF expansion designed by renowned architecture firm Snøhetta.

  • As the Program Manager for the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra Powell Hall Renovation and Expansion project, responsibilities include leading the client, design team, and external consultants through the master planning, design, construction documentation, bidding, negotiation, and construction process to ensure project schedule, budget, and quality goals are acheived.

  • Stay tuned!
